Luca Picciau’s personal site is a clean, modern showcase of his work in brand identity, web design and photography. The home page opens with large typographic visuals (“SWISS • graphic • Designer • LUCA PICCIAU”) and quickly establishes the designer’s identity.
Our role
Built the site in Framer from the ground up: full implementation of layout, animations, responsive behaviour and content structure.
Worked closely with Luca to interpret his minimalist design vision—ensuring the clean aesthetic, subtle interactions, and full-page imagery were faithful to his brand.
Optimised for performance and accessibility: image handling, smooth transitions, responsive across desktop & mobile.
Ensured a seamless “View all work” section, clear contact cues (“Let’s talk”), and the professional presentation of his brand-identity/website/photography offerings.
Delivered documentation and handoff to Luca so he can update content as needed.
Design & technical highlights
Strong use of typography and whitespace to create a refined visual identity.
Full-width imagery with subtle parallax or scroll-triggered animations (depending on how the design progressed) to enhance visual impact without detracting from usability.
Responsive layout that maintains the high-end feel on desktop while working cleanly on mobile devices.
Contact section fixed or easily accessible, so visitors can quickly reach out.
Efficient build in Framer leveraging its powerful animation and layout tools to keep development time streamlined and maintainable.
Outcome The site presents Luca’s creative offering in a way that is both minimal and premium, giving his brand clarity and distinction. As the developer, I translated the design vision into an interactive, performant web experience that scales and adapts.
